This is easy to identify if an individual electrical item has stopped working. Firstly check whether or not the fuse has blown by replacing that fuse. If one area of the house is without power, but everywhere else is working, the most frequent explanation is that one of the fuses in the fuse box has been tripped. This is generally because of a problem with one of the electrical objects plugged into that circuit.
